Final Presentations

Prompt

End of Studio Presentations celebrate our successes as designers! These presentations are the story of our project - from early sketches and inspiration, through prototypes and more developed ideas, presentations highlight the pieces of the process that led each of us to our latest design.

Instructions

In this assignment, you will compile all your work to present to your class. Presentations should take 5 minutes or less in order to make sure everyone has a chance to present. Typically, you will receive 2 minutes of feedback following your presentation.

Your presentation should be created in a slideshow format and include the following:

Part 1 - Create Your Presentation

  1. Final Photograph (Evocative Image that highlights the kind of experience you want your project to provide viewers) with Project title and Team member names
  2. Thesis Statement (1-2 sentence project statement that explains the overall idea of your project)
  3. Research on Health Issue / Precedent Research
  4. Sketches
  5. Initial 2-3 Sketch Models (shared in your midterm presentation)
  6. Rhino Drawings and Models
  7. Final Prototype Pictures
  8. Diagrams
  9. "Thank You" slide.

Part 2 - Present Your Design Process!

This is the moment you've been waiting for! You will share your presentation with your class and possibly additional guests.

Tip: Try to practice your presentation before this final session. This will provide an opportunity to improve your presentation and make sure you're keeping on schedule.

Enjoy sharing all of your hard work with an audience eager to learn all about it!
