(click on the square on the sides and change the dimensions)
Drag a “Hole” Cylinder
Size it to about 5 mm diameter
Position it near one short end (use the Align tool later) and raise it so half the hole sits inside the keychain: set its Z (height) to 20 mm so it cuts through.
Select both base and cylinder and Group (Ctrl/Cmd+G) to subtract the hole.
Drag the Text object onto the workplane.
Resize the text in X and Y to fit—play with width until it looks balanced on the keychain.
In the Text inspector, type your name. Choose font if available.
Embossed text: leave text as Solid, select both text + base → Group to permanently join (this merges geometry so text prints as part of the base).
Engraved text: set text to Hole before grouping; select both → Group to subtract and leave an engraved text recess.
